Genesis 5
Genesis 5 part of the Genesis series depicting the formation of the waters over the earth. The many layers of pure high grade azurite laid over glazes of ochre, hematite, red ochres to create a dabbled when light hits the water and created a dancing colour over the surface. The painting has 8 layers of studio made gesso and over 10 layers of glazes of paint.

Size: 40 H x 30 W cm or 15.7 x 11.8 in
The original painting is on 1.8cm deep birch plywood panel. The sides of the painting are white and it is ready to hang. The work is signed at the front and at the back.
